Senior Center
he Senior Citizens Center is located at South Peach Park in Fort Valley but is maintained and operated by the Middle Georgia Community Action Agency, Inc.
The Middle Georgia Community Action Agency offers meal services and activities for seniors in several locations. These services are designed to improve the quality of life for participating seniors by providing nutritious meals, opportunities for social interaction, and general education.
Services include:
- Nutritious meals
- Nutrition education in a group setting
- Nutrition education and counseling on an individual basis
- Nutrition screening
- Transportation to education sites
- Shopping assistance
- Health, fitness, and other educational programs
- Recreational activities
Services are available to those who are age 60 and over and their spouses. Spouses are eligible regardless of age.
