Crimestoppers

Crimestoppers partners with media organizations, police departments, and other law enforcement agencies in eight Middle Georgia counties to provide anonymous rewards for tips that lead to criminal arrests. Crimestoppers is a community-run organization dedicated to increasing the safety of the residents of Peach, Bibb, Baldwin, Houston, Jones, Twiggs, Crawford and Monroe counties.

The program involves the public, the news media and the law enforcement personnel in the fight against crime. It offers a safe, secure, and confidential means to report crimes and cash rewards to people who furnish information leading to the arrest and indictment of felony crime offenders. Anonymity overcomes fear of involvement, and cash overcomes apathy.

The organization maintains a list of criminals against whom warrants have been issued and are being worked through the Macon Regional Crimestoppers systems and efforts. This database is updated daily and can be browsed or searched.
