The purpose of this position is to oversee the operations, staff, and resources of the Peach County Board of Elections and Registration, which is charged with directing and overseeing the operations of elections and registration. This position manages the operations and services of elections and registrations for the County while ensuring registration activities, recordkeeping, and services comply with state and local policies and regulations.
Qualifications: This is an exempt position. High school diploma or GED required. Additional training and course work in business administration or a related field supplemented by up to two (2) years previous experience and/or training involving voter registration or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job is preferred. Georgia Election Office Certification is preferred. Applicants qualifying for the selection process may be subject to computer skills testing. Applicant must pass criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
