Filing Fees

The Clerk of the Court charges for performing various duties and services. The clerks office accepts business and personal checks, cash and money orders. No credit cards are accepted.

The following schedule revised June 24, 2016 contains the most common transactions involving the payment of charges to the Clerk. The Clerk’s Office should be consulted for information regarding service charges not listed.

Civil Filing Fees: $217.00 plus $50 for each defendant
Sheriff Service: $50.00
Issuing Subpeonas: $5.00
Transfer Case to Another County: $50.00 plus copies

RECORDING COSTS

Deeds: $10.00 first page and $2.00 per page after
Cancellations:$10.00 first page and $2.00 per page after and $2.00 cross indexing fee
Assignments: $5.00 first page and $2.00 per page after and $2.00 cross indexing fee
Plats: $8.00 per plat but they must be filed online at www.peachcourt.com
Liens: $5.00 first page and $2.00 per page after
Cancellation of Liens: $5.00 first page and $2.00 per page after and $2.00 cross indexing fee
UCCS: $10.00 first page and $2.00 per page after
Termination: $10.00 first page and $2.00 per page after
Trade Name Registration: $162.00
Certified Copies: $2.50 plus 50 cents per page after first
Copies: 50 cents each page
DD214: No charge
Temporary Protective Orders & Family Violence Act: No charge
